Keith Whitsey

President/Founder

Keith A. Whitsey is an accomplished entrepreneur, educator and trainer. He has committed his life's work  to student development by offering life-long learning skills and experiences. Keith has worked as a trainer and instructor for more than 30 years with several organizations including the Internal Revenue Service, Jobs for Youth, Inc., and UPS.

 

Keith holds a Bachelors Degree in Communications, an Associates Degree in Mathematics and State of Illinois Type 39 Certification in Education. Keith spent 14 years as a teacher for Chicago Public Schools where he skillfully employed a teaching style that consistently engaged students to achieve academic excellence. He also received numerous teaching awards, including the 2006 Hero Honor by the Million Man Ministries.

In 2011, Keith’s passion for education prompted him to develop Student Assets, Inc., a not-for-profit financial literacy and academic enrichment organization. Student Assets, Inc. was founded to help inner-city students, grades K-12, build financial literacy life skills while improving academic and cognitive learning.
